Soviet born American Zecharia Sitchin (1920-2010) authored seven books in a collection entitled The Earth Chronicles, the first published in 1976 entitled The 12th Planet and the last entitled The End of Days published in 2007. One of the few scholars who could read ancient Sumerian, he was able to pass onto us the Sumerian culture's knowledge of an additional planet in our planetary system which was usually out of range of our known solar system in its anomalous elliptical orbit of 3600 years.
Planet X (aka Nibiru by Mesopotamia and Marduk by Babylon, as well as Wormwood, the Destroyer, Hercolobus, et al.) it turns out is an extremely dense heavy metal planet four times the size of Earth, occupied by a race of giants known as the Anunnaki, who dropped in on Earth during these transits for the purpose of mining gold.

So superior were they to Earth's native hominids that they were worshipped as gods. And why wouldn't they be, arriving at Earth with such great heavenly fanfare and disruptive cataclysmic geological impact? Depending on how close Planet X transited to Planet Earth with its great magnetic pull on both its approach and departure from our corner of the universe, its impact on Earth varied from transit to transit, some transits quite devastating and others merely disruptive. NASA research scientist John Anderson in Newsweek of July 13, 1987, postulated that Planet X presents a solution to the mystery of the disappearance of the dinosaurs, an extinction occurring 26 million years ago, coincident with the 3600-year orbit. As evidence of the Anunnaki visits, Sumerian records reveal full knowledge of the solar system including Pluto, not discovered in modern times until 1930.

But these giant alien hominids squabbled among themselves as to their mining duties which they decided to resolve by cross-breeding with Earth hominids to create a hybrid race to do the mining for them. There is evidence that this is true in the recently confirmed DNA mitochondria revealing a common female ancestor 50,000 to 300,000 years ago. Paleoanthropologists have also found fossil evidence of homo sapiens suddenly appearing at that time which corroborates the story.
Fast forward to the early part of the 21st century when an amateur astronomer and researcher named Gill P. Broussard received a phone call from a friend asking him if Planet X was for real. A skeptic, Broussard decided nevertheless to research the question when lo and behold, he found some ancient Chinese evidence of a supernova in 1054 reported in a study by The Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies. Only it was not a supernova at all since the body was not stationary but instead became designated a "guest star." Burying his head in records of China, Korea, and Japan, Broussard discovered the guest star revisits Earth every 3600 years, arriving in early August and leaving at a time coinciding with Passover. Then he began finding correlations in the dates of this guest star and Biblical events such as Noah's flood.
Known now universally as Nibiru from the Sumerian language meaning "planet of the crossing," the mysterious planet is inextricably intertwined with and a part of our solar system. We are now in the vicinity of the 3600-year transit date, and many photographs are emerging on the internet purporting to depict Nibiru making its approach to Earth, visible only at daybreak and sunset as a second sun, the rest of the time making its approach behind and obscured by the sun.
No one can state with certainty the exact date of its passing, though many predict the transit for 2016, during which time the Earth will pass through Nibiru's plasmic meteor showers both ways, in the midst of which it will slow and come to a standstill as the pole shift already in progress completes itself.
NASA acknowledged Nibiru's existence quietly in 1982, and in 1983 it was detected by IPAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite). With its immense magnetism, it is perhaps the sole cause of global warming as it enters Earth's range, for all the planets are heating up with its approach (geo-engineering and chemtrails notwithstanding). Ice caps are melting, volcanic activity is increasing, sinkholes are appearing, and islands are popping up unexpectedly. It raises some new apocalyptic understandings of great Earth changes.
Still not being officially acknowledged in mainstream media, we have no available information as to its exact proximity and speed of approach to Earth, but we can certainly anticipate extreme reactions of our planet and our populace. As radio personality/writer Steve Quayle states on Nibiru's approach, "While physical manifestations destabilize, the whole earth reeling to and fro, the only stability that will prevail will be found through the spiritual." We have recently ushered in Nibiru with Old Testament holy days, blood super moons, and a history of warnings about mankind's spirituality that is screaming, "Hey, humans, listen up!"

The coinciding timelines of Jewish Shemitah and Christian Revelations' events are revealed in great detail, and while Broussard's anticipated date of March 26, 2016, has come and gone, we are in the Jubilee year of Shemitah, when it is foretold that Earth will go through the plasma meteor showers of Nibiru once more, perhaps for the last time depending on our proximity to Nibiru and degree of spiritual evolution.
As to Zechariah Sitchin being vindicated at last, it's just as well he is not still around to see his prophecy come to pass for as Leslie Crossingham writes in new Dawn Magazine (May 17, 2012), "The student of Sitchin's seven books discovers ample evidence that brings the whole story of creation in the Bible, the Torah and the Qur'an into question. . .that 'sacred scriptures' were created by [the Anunnaki] to mentally subjugate people, not give more spiritual solace or wisdom. In short, the three main religions of the world will be irrefutably and irrevocably shown to be based on a fraud." And there are just some things for which we hybrids are not quite ready yet.
